Hull Cleaning and Inspections

Anyone who owns a boat on the Florida coast has, at some time, experienced that sudden feeling that you just aren’t getting the performance you are used to from your boat!  Whether it happens while you are “opening up” the twin Mercs on your Scarab… or trying to “nose out” the competition in the downwind leg of a sailing race… you realize the bottom of your vessel, and/or its running gear may be fouled with line, or clogged with marine growth!  It’s a condition that usually happens over time… but becomes obvious in an instant!

We, at DSS can solve your problem… and help minimize the chances of further frustrations or ruined outings on the water! Our Divers are trained to:

• Inspect and remove marine growth from boat hulls and running gear,
• Check and replace sacrificial anodes as needed,
• Quickly remove fouling agents such as line, cable and nets from gear and props.
• We can even put your vessel on a regular Bi-weekly or monthly inspection to keep it in top sailing/cruising fashion!
